The feedback I received on my Elevator Pitch No. 2 was all positive. Like the feedback after the first pitch, each person who commented thought a food truck would be very beneficial to midtown- close to campus where foot traffic is heavy. Each person who commented would eat at my food truck because of the healthy and dietary benefits. There was no outrageous or silly feedback, but one person did have a question on how I would avoid long lines, such as the long lines at my competitor shops, such as Pita Pit, Relish, Flacos, and Jimmy Johns. In this third elevator pitch, I address everything I have thus far, including how the Variety Van plans to avoid long lines. Enjoy my pitch!
Hello Shannon,
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, I loved your pitch. I think you did a great job selling and communicating your idea. Furthermore, your idea is great and I am sure that it would be a success because of the variety of food and snacks that you would offer and the schedule of operation. One question though, will the food truck operate 24hrs? Or just at night after certain hour? You did a great job and I would definitely be one of your customers. Here is my pitch if you want to take a look at it http://berrvh.blogspot.com/2016/03/elevator-pitch-no3.html
Hey Shannon. Excellent job on the pitch. You spoke clearly, didn't have any distractions going around you, and you described the main points of the idea really well. I really like the idea of a food truck, especially one that is open when the bars close. The only thing I think could be a problem is your solution for the lines, at most food trucks I've eat from ordering is never the slow down, its always waiting for the food. If there were a way for you to pre-package or precook everything so you just have to hand it to the customer, I think that would help more than adding a second ordering window. Good luck, here's a link to mine http://thegarrick.blogspot.com/2016/03/elevator-pitch-no-3.html
