Week 12 Reading Reflection
This week's reading was all about growth strategies for entrepreneurial ventures in the workplace. This biggest surprise for me in this reading was the idea of start-up activities- it's just not something you (or at least I wouldn't) think of. I imagine a start-up to be easier, and not so involved as the actual growth process. I was confused by the different types of models- business plans on paper are sort of confusing to me as I think I am more of an auditory listener than a visual one. If I could ask this author two questions, I would inquire about the entrepreneur's point of view questions- what structure is best? How do I capitalize on it? I think these questions are really important and also (for lack of a better word) confused me because I don't have the answers. I don't agree with the author about always sharing the entrepreneur's vision because I believe every entrepreneur is different and you determine your own success.
