Elevator Pitch No. 2
The feedback I received from my first elevator pitch was all positive. Each person who commented thought a food truck would be very beneficial in midtown- close to campus where foot traffic is heavy. Each person who commented would eat at my food truck because it is a healthy and cheap alternative. Since everyone was so positive, there wasn't any feedback I found outrageous or silly- it was very encouraging. I haven't made any changes really, but just furthered what types of food I would be serving to my customers.

I would love for your idea to become a reality Shannon. I don't understand why there are no food trucks around or near campus. especially at night where there is plenty of people near midtown. I think the fact that there is healthy food will attract a lot of people since there are plenty of students that stay in shape. Unfortunately there is probably some law in place that keeps food trucks away from campus since there aren't any nearby.

I like the idea of the variety van. I have often been confronted with the limited late night food offerings that are available. It would be nice to have a healthy alternative to what is currently available. The variety that you would be offering would be also be a welcome alternative to satisfy a pallet that is looking for something different at that time.

ReplyDeleteThis is definitely the best elevator pitch that I've watched so far from this class! Your hook, your connection with the listeners, your ask, how you will make money, and your confidence were all excellent! A variety food truck would be a great idea for late night cravings. There aren't too many cheap options around midtown for small snacks, so I believe you have the right niche to make your business idea take off!
