As I mentioned in my introduction post, my parents recently moved to Jacksonville Beach, Florida. Our neighbor across the street, Adam Brett, left his 6-figure finance job in NYC to move to the beach and become an artists- specifically a painter. He is a brave entrepreneur and his work is phenomenal. He's a humble guy and doesn't make the most money, but he loves what he does. I enrolled in ENT3003 because although I am a telecommunications major, I am pursuing a concentration in business and decided this course would be an interesting one. I hope to gain a sense of confidence for when I enter the "real world" after graduation.

ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed reading your blog, I went back to your introduction post and read it to understand your story. I think it is really cool that someone so close to you totally quit their successful life to follow their passion! (I'm definitely going to go check out his page for artwork) I always love stories like that though, maybe one day I'll be brave enough to follow my heart.
I enrolled in this course because it is for my major, so similar to how you did it for your concentration. I also thought this course would be very interesting and it is turning out to be exactly that! Thanks for posting :)
